1. Agreement to Terms

By visiting this site, booking a driving lesson or using any services provided by Chaswal Driving School ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Chaswal Driving School provides professional driving instruction services in Sydney, NSW, Australia. Lessons are available to learner drivers holding a valid NSW Learner Licence.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice.

3. Eligibility

To receive driving lessons, you must:

• Hold a valid NSW Learner Licence (L-plates) or a valid overseas licence where applicable.
• Be physically and medically fit to drive a motor vehicle.
• Inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or restrictions that may affect your ability to drive.
• Be at least 16 years of age (parental/guardian consent required for students under 18).

4. Bookings

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment or written confirmation from us. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred times. Lesson packages are non-transferable to other students.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• 24+ hours notice: Cancellations or rescheduling made at least 24 hours before a lesson will incur no charge.
• Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of up to the full lesson cost may apply.
• No-show: If you fail to attend a lesson without notice, the full lesson fee will be forfeited.
• Instructor cancellations: If we need to cancel a lesson, you will be notified as soon as possible, provided an mutually agreed alternative date for the lesson or a full credit or refund as deemed right by the driving school.

6. Payments & Refunds

Lesson fees are payable as agreed at the time of booking. Package lessons are paid in advance. Refunds for unused lessons in a package are available upon written request, minus any lessons already completed and any applicable administration fee.

We accept payment via methods communicated at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change; changes will not affect lessons already paid for.

7. Student Conduct

You agree to:

• Arrive on time and be ready for each lesson.
• Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability.
• Follow all instructions given by your driving instructor.
• Treat the instructor and the vehicle with respect.

We reserve the right to terminate a lesson immediately and without refund if a student's behaviour poses a safety risk or violates these conditions.

8. Liability

Our instructors hold dual-control vehicles with instructor override capability. In the unlikely event of an incident during a lesson, our vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance. However, you agree that Chaswal Driving School is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or losses arising from your failure to follow instructor instructions or your wilful misconduct.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Chaswal Driving School and may not be reproduced without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. Please check this page periodically for updates.
